HOW 8PM DROP WORKS

Buy one thing at the price big buyers pay.

Factories charge less when people buy plenty. On your own you pay the small-buyer price. Here, everybody buying the same thing counts as one big order β€” so you get the big-order price without buying a container.

THE NAME

What β€œ8PM Drop” means.

8 p.m.

Selling starts at eight o'clock at night, Nigeria time. Not every night β€” only on days we announce beforehand, so you know when to be here.

Drop

A drop is a batch of goods we put on sale all at once. This is not a shop that stays open. It opens, it runs, and then it is finished.

Put together: at 8 p.m. on a day we announce, a set of products goes on sale for up to 24 hours. That is a Drop. The price falls while it is open, and when it closes, it closes.

FOUR STEPS

What happens when you buy.

Every order goes ahead β€” we never cancel a Drop for being too small.
1

We put up a set number

Each item has a fixed number available. You can buy just one. You never have to buy in bulk.

2

More buyers, cheaper for all

The price drops as more people order. If it drops after you have paid, we send you the difference back β€” you do not have to ask.

3

Buying stops

When the items finish, or 24 hours after the Drop opens β€” whichever comes first. We only buy from the factory after this.

βœ“

Checked, then delivered

We buy it, check it before it leaves the factory, and deliver anywhere in Nigeria in 7–12 days. Supplier confirmation, inspection, shipping and local delivery all stay visible in your account. A failed batch does not ship, and everybody affected is refunded in full.

BEFORE IT REACHES YOU

Somebody checks it.

Buying at factory price usually means trusting a seller you will never meet.
1
We check the sellerBefore we list anything, we check the factory is real, has made this thing before, and can supply the number we are promising.
2
We check the itemWe compare the sample against what the page says β€” the material, the size, what comes in the box. The photos are the factory's own pictures of the actual goods, never taken from another seller.
3
We check the batchAfter buying stops, the goods are inspected before they leave. If they fail, nobody gets a bad item: we cancel and refund everyone in full, delivery included.
The last check happens after you pay, not before β€” that is simply when the goods exist. It is also why the refund has no conditions on it. Read the refund policy β†’

Money

You pay the price on the screen. If the price falls before buying closes, the difference goes into your 8PM Drop balance the moment that item settles. You do not have to claim it, and you do not have to wait for a bank.

That balance is yours. It comes off your next order automatically, or you can ask for it in cash to your bank account at any time β€” we settle those by hand, usually within a working day.

The price never goes up. Whatever you paid is the most you will ever pay for that item.

Delivery

Nothing ships while buying is still open. Once an item closes we place the order, it gets checked, and then it travels. Expect it 7 to 12 days after that.

The delivery fee depends on where you are, and you see the exact amount before you pay:

  • Lagos Mainland₦3,000
  • Lagos Island₦3,000
  • Abuja₦4,500
  • Port Harcourt₦4,500
  • Other major cities₦5,000
  • Nationwide₦5,000

Early buyers on each item get delivery free on orders of ₦10,000 and above. The item page tells you how many free places are left.

If something is wrong

You have 7 days from delivery. If it is faulty, broken on the way, or not what the page said, send it back β€” we pay the return delivery and refund you everything, including what you paid for delivery.

To start, message us with your order number and a photo of the problem. A photo from your phone is enough. We are not going to ask you for paperwork.

We do not take back items simply because you changed your mind. Everyone in a Drop is buying together, and one item coming back changes the price for the rest.

Common questions

Do I have to buy plenty? No. One is fine, always.

Is there a Drop every night? No. Drops open at 8 p.m. on dates we announce beforehand.

What if not enough people buy? Your order still goes ahead. You just pay the price you agreed to.

Will a closed Drop come back? Sometimes. Never count on it β€” ask for it again and we will see how many people want it.

That's the whole thing.

Nothing hidden, no small print that contradicts this page.
